Ronit Benbasat Rom is an Executive Board Member at Israel America Chamber & Wizo. She is a Global Executive people – CPO – thought leader.
Ronit is chairing the Global Human resources board role at WW Wizo (Women’s International Zionist Organization) and she is a very active board member of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce and involved deeply with the Abraham’s Accords peace talks of the region from the business aspect.
Prior to that Ronit headed HR for Intuit Israel & all WW cyber employees. Before that she was part of the establishing team of Team8 a leading cyber security VC and was there as VP HR for all the VC Companies.
Ronit brings more than 30 years of wide managerial experience working in international high-tech companies leading : HR, Finance, Organization & Methos, Customer success, Administration. Among those companies are : LSI Logic, Intel, Cellcom and Cisco (Israel, Europe and San Jose, CA) and as VP Human Resources, she led all the company HR activities for Cellcom and Check Point (worldwide). Prior to this role, Ronit was the CEO of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce Ronit was a Director at Maala, Israel’s leading organization concerned with business for social responsibility, which advocates corporate values and citizenship. Ronit is also a Director at the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce and the Educational Insights Project and was a member of the Council for Alut the organization for Children with Autism.
Ronit holds a BA in Social Work from Tel Aviv University and an Msc in Organizational Behavior from the Business School at Tel Aviv University. She also participated in executive MBA programs at INSEAD, IMD and the University of Michigan.
