Rishi is a management professional; having worked across Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Management Consulting and Consumer-goods industries for nearly two decades now, he enjoys building & developing – businesses, teams and people. Human Resources to him is a core business function and this approach has helped him push the growth trajectories of the organizations he has been a part of – traditional, new age and start-ups alike. In this journey, he got multiple opportunities of building impactful leadership teams, which contributed to his own growth as a people leader. Rishi leads his work with this mindset, living & realizing his ‘Ikigai’ of ‘making everyone successful.

Rishi, at present, is transitioning from a HR leadership role at Meta, where he spent almost 8 years as Director of HR in Asia-Pacific and Head of HR for India. He had the privilege of leading HR for multiple functions & teams for the Meta family of apps – Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram – thereby enabling a multi-billion USD revenue in India. As the HR Director in the region, he led HR for Asia-Pacific Public Policy, Legal and Communications orgs. Over years, his team led APAC HR for Meta Partnerships org and other functional teams – giving him an insight into the entire ecosystem of teams & functions. As part of Meta’s International HR leadership team, his role also thereby helped shape the overall People agenda for the company.

Rishi is married to Neha, who is a HR professional. They have a ten-year old son named Rajvir, who is an awesome combination of a tiger & a chimpanzee. When away from work, you will find Rishi either riding his motorcycle to the remote Himalayas or deploying his green thumb in his garden. Additionally, he actively engages in teaching & mentoring students when he can. Rishi is based in Gurgaon, India.
